This section contains pictures of Ottawa's O-Train. The O-Train consists of only 5 stations and takes 15 minutes to travel from one end to the other. There have been numerous plans to scrap the O-Train, but it still continues to survive for the time being.

This section contains photos of OC Transpo Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 buses that the City of Ottawa purchased for a 1 year demo project. Three buses were bought and numbered 1201 to 1203 and are ran on route 94 Hurdman on selected runs. Unfortunatly, these buses have spent most of their time out of service at OC Transpo's St Laurent garage.

This sections contains pictures of GM Classics built in 1984, 1985 and 1987. Those are the only 3 years OC Transpo aquired GM Classics. The 1984's were numbered 8401 to 8425, the 1985's were numbered 8541 to 8555, and the 1987's were numbered 8765 to 8799. All the 84XX & 85XX Classics are retired, and 1 87XX Classics is still in service #8792.

This section contains pictures of buses from OC Transpo's historical collection which inculdes a 1950 Twin Coach 38-S, 1958 GM Old Look, 1959 GM Old Look, 1961 GMC New Look, and a 1982 GM articulated New Look. There are other buses in the collection awaiting restoration including a few CC&F Brills, some Yellow Coach buses, an Orion-Ikarus III and an Orion I 30ft model.

This section contains pictures of MCI Classics built in 1989 and 1991. The 1991 Classics featured air-conditioning, hence the letter 'A' and the end of the model number. They are numbered 9101 to 9125. The 1989's did not have air-conditioning and had the letter 'N' at the end of their model number. They are numbered 8901 to 8960.

This section contains pictures of New Flyer D40 high floor buses built in 1990 and 1992. The D40's are kept mostly for peak hour service these days. OC Transpo aquired 55 units in 1990 #9001 to 9055 and 27 units in 1992 #9201 to 9227. Most of the 1990 units have rollsigns, while the 1992 units have electronic display signs.

This section contains pictures of New Flyer D40I Invero buses that operate for OC Transpo. OC Transpo has the largest fleet of Invero's in North America with 326 units now built from 2004 to 2007 #4201 to 4526. The Invero model wasn't very popular with transit systems in North America and was discontinued in 2008.

This section contains pictures of Novabus Classics aquired by OC Transpo in 1993 and numbered 9301 to 9330. All the Novabus Classics feature air-conditioning units. Just about all of them are still in service with the known exception of 9302.

This section contains pictures of Novabus LFS's built in 1997 and numberes 9721 to 9740. Only 20 LFS's were ever bought by OC Transpo. These buses don't see much service and can be found parked at the St-Laurent garage most of the time.

This gallery contains pictures of Orion V's built in 1991 #9126 to 9150 and in 1992 #9231 to 9258. In 1997 and 1998 a second batch was delivered #9701-9720 & 9801-9885. The 1991-92 Orion V's had the Maple Leaf paint scheme, while the the 1997-98 Orion V's are painted in the 'KFC' scheme. All the 1991-92 units are retired and just about all of the 1997-98 units are still in service.

This section contains pictures of Orion VI's built in 1999. A large order of 140 units was aquired by OC Transpo in 1999 and numbered 4001 to 4140. These unique buses feature a rear exit door at the very far back side of the bus, instead of the traditional centre exit doors.

This section contains pictures of OC Transpo Orion VII Next Generation (NG) hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) buses. OC Transpo will be getting an order for over 200 of these buses in the near future. Since the start of 2009, 2 demo buses 5001 and 5002 have been in service, with the arrival of 5003 in June 2009. The order will be slowly starting to arrive over the next year.

This section contains pictures of Orion-Ikarus III articualted buses. They were aquired in 1985 and numbered 8501 to 8533, in 1987 and numbered 8601 to 8655 and 8719 to 8764, and in 1988 numbered 8841 to 8870. In 1998, OC Transpo aquired second hand from the TTC 25 more units and they were numbered 8875 to 8899. All Orion-Ikarus III's are retired.

This section contains pictures of STO GM Classics. The GM's were numbered 8401 to 8406 in 1984, 8501 to 8509 in 1985 and 8601 to 8604 in 1986. Three ex-OC Transpo GM Classics were aquired by the STO as well and numbered 8413, 8545 and 8745. Less than a handful of them remain.

This section contains pictures of STO MCI Classic buses. All Classics were delivered with A/C units starting with 1990's 9008 to the last one delivered in 1997. The MCI's were numbered 8801 to 8808 in 1988, 8901 to 8915 in 1989, 9001 to 9015 in 1990, 9101 to 9129 in 1991 and 9201 to 9223 in 1992. Buses 9006 and 9007 ware suburbans with no rear exit doors. Only 9007 remains from the 2 suburban models.

This section contains pictures of STO Novabus HEV Hybrid-Electric buses. Bus 0701 and 0702 are the very first ever Novabus HEV buses. The HEV system is built by GM/Allison and is noticeable by the large tank on top of the bus. They are used on heavy stop and go routes. These are the only HEV buses in the fleet.

This section contains pictures of STO Orion II buses that were not used at handicap buses like in most transit systems, but as regular passenger city buses on routes that went on the Champlain bridge as heavy vehicles were not allowed to pass some years ago. The Orion II's have since been retired as they are no longer needed. They totalled 4 units aquired in 1992 numbered 2192, 2292, 2392 and 2492.

This section contains pictures of STO Novabus Classics. The Novabus Classics were numbered 9401 to 9426 in 1994, 9501 to 9520 in 1995, 9601 to 9603 in 1996 and 9701 to 9705 in 1997. The STO has some of the last Classics ever delivered in 1997.
